- Hendricks County, Indiana
Funds projects and programs in Hendricks County that build community unity, including inclusivity, diversity, equity and accessibility, civic engagement and volunteerism. Nonprofits are preferred, and government agencies and some school programs may apply. An accessible or inclusive playground feature may fit the accessibility priority.
Could a playground win this?
Possible fit Medium confidence
Playgrounds are not named. Accessibility is a stated priority, and a past grant paid for trail work to improve access, so an inclusive or accessible playground feature such as accessible surfacing or an accessible play piece could fit. Youth sports league projects are ineligible, so talk with HCCF before applying.
Inclusivity, diversity, equity & accessibility
The Avon Outdoor Learning Center received a $2,250 grant to stabilize the trails at the center to allow for better accessibility for students with mobility limitations.
