A Mahaska County women's giving club pools member donations each quarter and votes on community improvement projects. The project with the most votes receives that quarter's funding.

Could a playground win this?

Possible fit Medium confidence

Playgrounds are not named, but members vote to fund community improvement projects, and a playground or shade project fits that purpose. One project wins each quarter.

They then vote on community improvement projects presented to them.

The project receiving the most votes gets the funding for that quarter.

How to apply

  1. Review the Golden Goose Club's project qualifications.
  2. Present your community improvement project to the club.
  3. Members vote, and the top project is funded for the quarter.
