United Power members nominate local 501(c)3 nonprofits to receive grant funds that support their mission and the local community. Nonprofits serving United Power members in the cooperative's Colorado service territory can benefit. Organizations that further religious doctrines or political parties, or that re-grant funds, are not eligible.

Could a playground win this?

Possible fit Low confidence

Playgrounds are not named, but these are general grants to local nonprofits for their mission, so a nonprofit with a playground project could put the funds toward a piece of it, such as shade or a play piece. Your organization must be nominated by a United Power member rather than applying directly, and religious organizations are not eligible.

These grants will help them continue to work toward accomplishing their mission and serve the local community.

To receive a Member Choice Grant, nominated organization must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit operating within the cooperative's service territory and serving United Power members.
